Over-lapping leaves

I wanted to paint this white cup with leaves - and the idea came to me that they should overlap. So, I had some colours out on the palette and tried to create autumn . . .

When it was done, I felt they'd look better out-lined: so I got out my liner brush, and dipped it in black!

Leafy shelf

My husband has been busy around the house lately - must be the rain, I think - which is keeping him away from his first love: fishing!! ;)

One of the projects that was finished recently, was this shelf, for my bathroom. I needed somewhere to keep my face creams and whatnot, and finally it was done.

It was so pretty, I decided to paint on something simple along the side - and I kept to the same palette as my bathroom, which has basically green (with cream) floor tiles, and cream (with green) tiles half-way up the wall.

Just finished :)

We must have a close up, to show that I've yet to master my curly-cues. Sigh.

And now, weighed down with all the stuff I need for my face, and then some ;)

Ethan: Another one

I'd also made a name-plaque for my nephew. It's hard to do something for a boy - flowers seem so, well, girly, don't they?!

So, I'd done this one, but I don't like it.

So, I'm in the process of doing another ... and here's the background, already completed, and waiting for me to put in his name, and finish it:

And this is it, with his name added, and one-stroke leaves. More-for-boy, I think. Sigh. Actually, I simply don't know :(
